I will install it tomorrow

Maybe a good idea: "Auto-post a new message in the chat if someone create a new topic".

just to let everyone know. in the next release, there will be subsilver2 support. because subsilver2 styles can have many different visual elements, i'm just doing the basic subsilver2 and might not be able to help with template changes as i'm really only supporting officially released phpbb 3.1.x styles from the styles DB here.

The chat works perfectly, but the "style" isn't nice because in 4 replies line take lot of space.

Xenforo's chat take 100/120 pixels in 5 lines and your chat takes like 400 pixels

why is it that you feel you need to compare my chat to another. if you like the other one so much, then use it. this is not TaigaChat for XenForo. this is Ajax Chat for phpBB

I try to said my opinion, i know that it isn't your chat, but is better and more for display if you can see more lines.

In 400 pixels i see 4 lines, if 20 people are chatting at same time... 4 lines will dissapear in... 2 seconds.

Hiya,

Thanks for this mod! It works great on my test site and I have no problems with it whatsoever.

However, myself and a couple of my forum members who have tested the mod with me have a feature idea that would be extremely helpful.

Would it be possible to to get an edit button and then be able to edit previous messages? This would be awesome if possible but fully appreciate it might not be.

Thanks again for your time and effort on it! :D

i see so many people that want to edit messages in chat but i honestly have never seen a point in it. here's my line of thought on it... if you don't mean it, don't say it in chat... if you don't want something seen in chat, delete it or don't post it... have rules for your members about using chat. if they can't follow them, then remove their permissions for using chat. so i honestly can't justify spending the time to add this. sorry

i'm not sure i understand. but i will try to ;)

you have the extension installed and cannot see it on the index and have it set in the UCP to see it. only things that have been known to cause this to this point is the style you are using, or, you are not using phpBB's default groups. upon install, the extension adds the permissions to view to the default phpBB install groups that are, Registered users, Administrators, and Global moderators. if you are not using those groups, then you will have to set the permissions manually ;)

Thanks for the quick reply.

It is not so much for not meaning something it is for when typos occur which affect the whole meaning of something. So instead of having to delete and retype a long message you could just edit the problem out.

Bust as I said originally no problem - I completely understand your justification.
