That makes me feel a little better now, I thought I was starting to go crazy, haha.
Brunino wrote:Control also permissions of other groups
when changing within other groups, I still come up with nothing. However, if I change the permissions on the user level, then it shows up.

This is fine for me. It is for information gathering in which not every member needs access to. So I guess in a round about sorta way (that I'm sure was completely intended on your part), it is working.

Thank you for your patience with me.

I do have two last question though: How does this handle multiple users who log in from the same IP address? I ask because I am using this in my work place, and we have many employees using the same set of PC's. Do you think that this will casue any issues with accurate counting?

Also: Does this only start counting once it's enabled? If the answer is yes, that is completely fine, I am just trying to wrap my head around what I'm looking at, and what I can expect.

Thank you again for your help, it is much appreciated.

My extension doesn'y use IP, uses the users account... No problem.

Yes, the count of view starts when you install the extension

Umh.... it is an option that I could add in next version... but I think it is useless
Ok ... I try to explain why it is (or could be) useful ...
A registration on our forum is not a "must", but we have a lot of guests. and it would be very interesting and helpful to know, what topics are most viewed by guests.
I hope you know what I mean.
So ... I try again ...
It's absolutely necessary to show the number of guests.
Can you PLEASE add this ?

Dear Brunino ...

I love your extension, but it is absolutely necessary that the number of guests are also shown.
I hope you have in the near future time to implement this "feature".

Hi,

“but it is absolutely necessary“, for you, not for me. Nothing is absolutely necessary among the extensions. If you see the number of VIEWS in viewforum, you already know the number of views by guests. This extension consumes a lot of sql queries, with guests the consummation will increase.

“but it is absolutely necessary“, for you, not for me.
With all respect ... I'm not interested what YOU think and what YOU need (or not) !
So please keep quiet and let Brunino decide. Thank you.

"with all respect" I am not in need of knowing how many guests viewed a topic.

That's austrian spam :)

Maybe an option with a checkbox in extension tab so if admin want guest to be seen... he can checks the box.

No !!! I'm not spamming, ok ?!?
I only ask for an option to also view guests.
