I'm sure Brunino understands that Rich. You did not see all of my post.
I posted adding IF U_ACP in his templates to show for only admin for elements_me question.
I removed that part from my post not to mislead anyone else.
Brunino is correct, he has permissions in the ACP for that which I did not see.

Nice work Brunino!

Just installed this, and enables correctly (at least php says so anyhow). Updated Admin permissions to be able to view counts, and nothing has changed...... There are no fields to show even where I have been.

Any ideas as to what the issue may be? Is there anything else (or anywhere else) I should be looking?

P.S. I Don't even see anything on the the Authors Demo Board. I'm looking at the bottom of the page, and nothing..... I'm using IE7 (don't get me started on my company BS), does this require HTML5?

No, I cannot see anything. On the forum side of thing, it acts as if the extension is not installed at all.

I figure it is in fact installed correctly since I can set the permissions in group settings within the ACP. However, there is no other indication of it working at all anywhere else.

Should I be looking for another setting within the ACP aside from the group settings?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Umh.... it is an option that I could add in next version... but I think it is useless
Ok ... I try to explain why it is (or could be) useful ...
A registration on our forum is not a "must", but we have a lot of guests. and it would be very interesting and helpful to know, what topics are most viewed by guests.
I hope you know what I mean.

I'll tell you ecaxtly what I did, and you correct my mistake:

ACP->Permissions->Group Permissions->(for Administrators) Advanced Permissions->Misc-> Set from NO to YES:
  • Can View Who Visited a Topic
  • Can view topics visits number for each user
  • Can view the dates of who visited a topic
  • Can view last topics visited by users (in profiles)
Then I saved

... and here we are. Am I missing another step in the process somwhere that is hindering my ability to see the numbers?

As I stated before, I also don't even see the view counts on your demo board. Unfortunately, I am using IE7, if that means anything..... and a company wide update to IE10 doens't look like it's coming down the pipe anytime soon.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
-Patrick V.
