I would prefer an IP ban because Stop Spam Forum is an IP database, isn't it ?

It has email addys, usernames and IPs.

What about to let the amdin choose in ext options ? Email, name, IP, both, all ?
An let the admin the duration of ban ? Like x "hours" or" "days" ? An ampty box for a number beside a dropdown menu with "hours" and " days" ?

Trying to keep it as simple as possible. Saying that there is now an option in the ACP to allow the banning of a spammer by IP and is hard coded for one hour. Images updated, github updated. Where the heck is 3.1.4-RC1?

Stop forum spam may very well have been down. It's been known to happen before.

Requires at least phpBB version 3.1.4-RC1.Extension will query the stop forum spam database on registration and posting (for guests only) and deny the post and or registration to go through if found. Will log an entry in the ACP if so set.

1. Copy the entire contents of the repository to ext/rmcgirr83/stopforumspam
2. Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Extension Management -> Extensions.

I have been in contact with the owner of stop forum spam. He will be submitting this, or a variant of this extension, to the database under the stopforumspam user name. So locking for now.
