3.0 or 3.1 with skin but want mobile view stock install

Hi,
I'm currently running phpBB 3.0.12 with a dual core skin and portal mod. ( http://F-RibsAndSibs.Com )

I realise that I need to update to the 3.1 but i've been holding off until I can get an answer for my query...

Is there any way I can install a skin on 3.0 or 3.1 but still have a mobile viewing platform to satisfy Google's new mobile device compatibility update?

So say, I run the 3.0 or 3.1 version with a skin, but direct mobile viewers to the stock prosilver/subsilver platform , or better still a mobile platform with a great looking skin.

with 3.1 there is no need for any special thing. the default style ( not skin, style in phpbb ) is already responsive so should not be a problem with that google thing.

most all 3.1 styles are also responsive because most all of them are based on prosilver.

you are trying to solve a problem that does not exist so you can go ahead and upgrade to 3.1
