Will there be an upgrade path from 3.2.0-RCx to 3.2.0 GA?

Yes, there will be.

I must add as a general note again though, that it's not recommended to upgrade your live board to a release candidate but rather to wait for the stable release to come out. This is for testing only. :)

Sure, I hate that there is uncertainty with when the GA is coming out. I have a project ready to roll out now. Hate using php 5 for this with 3.2 so close to being GA.

There are three possible reasons for said counter as far as I am concerned:
1. It is [counting down to] the date you will announce that phpBB 3.1 support timetable will be changed again, because you couldn't make option 2. happen or...
2. It is the date when 3.2 will release/go gold/become GA version (or whatever jargon is the preferred nomenclature).
3. It has absolutely nothing to do with the previous two.

Looks like a bug because the date in the javascript is still Saturday Jan 7th, 2017 - but its 23 hours and 36 minutes to 17:00 UTC on tomorrow, Saturday ;)

Edit: 18 Days left now at 23:05 UTC+1 :o

Opened a bug report: https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/WEBSITE-1300

What's the purpose to not give us the answer about that counter!? That's just frustrating...

By the end of the year people have some spare time to use the phpbb... with this sort of non-announcement we haven't any visibility of the future... really annoying...
