I have been using 3.1.10 styles on my 3.2 development board since 3.2 beta and I cannot say that I have noticed any issues - I am not saying that there are none, just that they are not obvious.

Just because the css has changed in prosilver does not mean that it has to be changed in all the other styles

Not sure what the styles policy will be with 3.2, but with the implementation of FA, it most certainly will be needed if they require FA usage.
