Cloudflare - is there a fix?

Post by BigDrago »

Hi.
Using phpbb 3.0.14., php 5.6.9.
Users keep getting logged out... including me... from the board.
I bet this is caused by cloudflare.
If I remember correctly someone here on phpbb.com edited a code that fixed this issue.
Someone remember the code? :)

you could turn off cloudfare. It probably is not benefitting you as much as you might think.

Yes I do but I guess you have some problems with cookies instead.

If not already done by your side, have a read to this KB article for Olympus.

So does Let's Encrypt, and without all the CF hassle and BS.

I am not sure about this, but I believe you can turn off the caching for cloudfare without losing it's other bits.
I believe the caching is one of the things that is causing so much trouble for users.

Look at your "Who's Online" area. Are you seeing visitors real IP addresses? If not, install mod_cloudflare on the server.

p.s. Do you have plans to install phpBB 3.1 soon? You really should because 3.2 will be out in less than 3 weeks so you will be even further behind.
