Upgrading to PHPBB3.1

Post by cybertroner »

Hello colleagues!
Finally decided to upgrade my forum (http://tf-russia.ru/forum/) to PHPBB 3.1, because my hoster recently upgraded software. I followed the instructions here https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... /upgrade3/ then checked rights for folders /install, /cache, /files, /store and changed them to 777. Rights for config.php is 666. Now when I open http://tf-russia.ru/forum/install/database_update.php I get white screen or message that server or file isn't found :( CMS on site is working. PHP version is 5.4.16.

Looks like you may be missing some files. Re-upload the /phpbb/ directory to your board.

After re-uploading the files, does the server error log show the same thing? The forum will continue to give an error about the ext table until the database update is performed.

Wait for it to finish, delete the /install folder and you should be good to go.
