I have the code with the logo in the config inserted. But first I want to remove the phpbb logo and then insert a new logo. Or can I simply upload a logo and this will be replaced by the phpbb logo?

you don't need to mess with the config file if you just want to replace the stock logo with yours.
rename your logo file to site_logo.gif and

upload your logo image to styles/forumbook/theme/images

purge the cache from the admin panel and refresh your browser.

Also don't forget to change the width & height in theme/common.css if your logo is a different size.

Locking since, according to the topic prefix used, this style has been released to the CDB. If that's not the case then the author should contact me in order to provide some guidance on prefix usage and purpose of this forum.

The [Release] tag is no longer a valid prefix (see updated Styles in Development forum rules). Therefore the topic prefix has been updated to [RC] and topic is now unlocked.
