It's a really GREAT extension.
Works fine with phpBB 3.3.10 / PHP 8.2 :

Would it be possible to use also relative links (like viewtopic.php?p=99) instead of being forced to use absolute and complete links ?
Thank you very much 👍🏻.

Yes and no

If you do this:-

OPEN

ext/hifikabin/headerlink/adm/style/acp_headerlink.html

FIND AND DELETE

type="url"

SAVE>UPLOAD>PURGE CACHE

you can use relative links BUT they will not work on FAQ, pages created in Pages ext etc

As you will be copying the link and then removing the boards URL I can not see any advantage in using the shorter links anyway.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Using short links is very useful in a local context so as not to refer to the forum on the remote site, but to the local website.

Hi,

Is it possible to add/select a custom groups instead of only the default groups?
I have a custom group named "Verified users" and I want to show a link only for those.

Fernando

Hi guys,

There are some issues with tooltips. I have two links: Members and Gallery.
When I put the mouse over the first one (Members) I can see the tooltip (opens a new tab) but when I put the mouve over the second one, shows nothing.

Regards
Fernando

BTW: It's an awesome extension. Congrats to author!

Just tested and it works as intended
Did you enter a tooltip-text?
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Yes I did. At the first one, it shows the tip and the text "opens as new tab" included at language-file. The second shows only the tip.

Good evening. Why on my forum links are displayed only in the title? Switching to - at the top of the forum, under the title, in the navigation bar does not display links.
Forum version 3.3.4. Tried different styles - prosilver, aero, platinum, square. Everywhere works only in the header.

Hello,

It seems that you have some files from an older version.
  • Deactivate the extension
  • Delete the contents of the ext/hifikabin/headerlink/ directory
  • Send all directories/files from the latest version
  • Reactivate the extension

Then try purging the cache because I see that CSS files from an old version are loaded into the head.

Completely uninstalled the extension and downloaded again. Now it works as it should. Thanks for the advice.
