[CDB] Flat Style - phpBB 3.2.0

Post by eeji » Tue Feb 28, 2017 10:31 pm

After a long time using phpBB I thought its about time I gave something back, so I am developing a theme for 3.2.x based on my own custom theme I currently use in v3.1.x on my board.

Flat Style is a simple flat square theme with a clean look...

v1.0.0:
  • Submitted to the customisation database, awaiting validation
v1.0.0-RC3:
  • This release is a more permanent fix for clashing colours in extensions that should make more extensions compatible out of the box with no additional edits
v1.0.0-RC2:
  • Compatibility with phpBB official extensions checked and fixed where neccessary
v1.0.0-RC1:
  • Fixes colour clashes in Board3 Portal extension

At least on Firefox, the subforum list entries could have more padding on the top. :)

Agreed, I'll add a bit more space. *edit* done

Also, the test user has been removed from the newly registered users group (sorry testers, I forgot!)

I like it. :) Really. Just a request, could you pls make with a sort of colorize-it?

I really would like to have it like GitHub'ed, see as the example https://github.com/3D-I/IP-Country-Flags

Thanks IA

I've never used github so wouldn't know where to start or how it all works :/ One idea I did have was to group all the classes that are coloured orange into a single css statement in its own file so to change the highlight colour would only take a single edit.

Why not, I like the colors of github and the icons as well.
Contrasts are ideal (IMO) if you are doing a long session in front of the monitor, especially while reading text. Would be great to see a version of this style look like github.

Thx.

Thanks. I am not a style expert but I though about a "colorize-it" option of some sort just playing with CSSs.
So no need to create another style, I guess.

Btw, isn't so hard to put it on github. Ask me if you need help though.
