Many many years ago I made a 'Do Not Click This Link' link which took you to a load of JS popups.

"You Clicked didn't you"

"I told you not to do that"

"So why did you click"

and so on and on and on and on

EVERYONE clicked, the last popup linked to a site totally opposite to the original.

For this year we changed our board's default style to:
April fools board style.JPG
April fools board style.JPG (9.61 KiB) Viewed 1268 times
The April Fools board style was a child of prosilver with changes were made to the styles/prosilver/theme/common.css (phpBB 3.2.0) to add

Code: Select all

    -webkit-transform: rotate(180deg); /* Safari and Chrome */
    -moz-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Firefox */
    -ms-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* IE 9 */
    -o-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Opera */
    transform: rotate(180deg);
to .headerbar, .navbar, .stat-block so they look like:

Code: Select all

.headerbar {
    margin-bottom: 4px;
    padding: 5px;
    border-radius: 7px;
    -webkit-transform: rotate(180deg); /* Safari and Chrome */
    -moz-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Firefox */
    -ms-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* IE 9 */
    -o-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Opera */
    transform: rotate(180deg);
}

.navbar {
    padding: 3px 10px;
    border-radius: 7px;
    -webkit-transform: rotate(180deg); /* Safari and Chrome */
    -moz-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Firefox */
    -ms-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* IE 9 */
    -o-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Opera */
    transform: rotate(180deg);
}

.stat-block {
    clear: both;
    -webkit-transform: rotate(180deg); /* Safari and Chrome */
    -moz-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Firefox */
    -ms-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* IE 9 */
    -o-transform: rotate(180deg);   /* Opera */
    transform: rotate(180deg);
}

I didn't fiddle with the content/posting areas, so it was mostly cosmetic and seems to have been well received.

I might use some of these as ideas for April 1. 2018. The "Do Not Click This Link" link is great.

Taking relativity into account, you're still short on time to meet the deadline. :lol:
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.
