Crizzo wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2017 8:05 pm How did you change the file?
Did you save it in utf8 without BOM?
KevC wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2017 8:38 pm You did not have to restore the database. You just upload an unedited file clear the cache and it will work again.
Just post the code showing the change you made. You probably made a mistake or it's what Crizzo says.
I have the forum in two languages, one of which is in English, it was not English I change but do not know if it does not matter either?JimA wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2017 7:22 pm Assuming you mean the Terms of Use text, that's in language/en/ucp.php:Code: Select all

The problem was that you could not log in or register.KevC wrote: Sat Jul 15, 2017 5:52 pm Same as Jim said.
But if it breaks the board post the code you changed and we can hopefully tell you why it's broken.
We know that. But it was broken because of the edit you made. So if it breaks post up the language code that you changed so we can see what you did to break it. It's probably something really simple like a missing apostrophe.

What happens if I delete the entire file so it is not available at all?KevC wrote: Mon Jul 17, 2017 6:33 pmWe know that. But it was broken because of the edit you made.
