BAM! what is utf8 without BOM?? No I just uploaded the file I would make changes on. Anyway I had to revert to a database to recover it. It went well. so my question is still current, how do I change the text on registration?

You did not have to restore the database. You just upload an unedited file clear the cache and it will work again.

Just post the code showing the change you made. You probably made a mistake or it's what Crizzo says.

Have fixed it now but how do I change the text?

I have the forum in two languages, one of which is in English, it was not English I change but do not know if it does not matter either?

We know that. But it was broken because of the edit you made. So if it breaks post up the language code that you changed so we can see what you did to break it. It's probably something really simple like a missing apostrophe.

Now I have restored the forum as it was before, now there is no problem logging in or registering

What happens if I delete the entire file so it is not available at all?
