Question for edit style template

Question for edit style template

Hay there,
currently I'm trying to find the template file where the stuff for posting or editing a thread or post is located to edit something on the similies.

It would be easier if you told us what you were trying to accomplish. There is not really too much in posting_editor.html that you could change...

I try to remove those smilies and replace them with emojis that you can simply copy and add to your post.

The smilies are not in the template. They are added programatically from the list in the Admin control panel.

As I said.... there is nothing to edit. The smilies are not in the template. They are in the database and loaded programatically. You know when you click on a smily in the editor, it only puts the text-code in the message. Emojis do not work like that.

The Emoji Picker extension might be a step in the direction you want. :)

Isn't there a way to get a system like facebook,telegram or whatsapp to get there a function for posting emojis?

Most modern browsers have that built in or is available as a plug in.
