How to change the little paper icon next to the subforum titles on index.

Post by ClassicNancy1 »

When you make a subforum it puts a little icon next to it that looks like a sheet of paper with a bent corner. I believe this is a fontawesome item. How or where do I change that?

AlsoI have subforums for various holidays and would love to make that related to the subforum. For example a tiny pumpkin for Halloween. Is anything like that even possible?

The icon you are talking to is located in forumlist_body.html file

Code: Select all

<i class="icon <!-- IF forumrow.subforum.IS_LINK -->fa-external-link<!-- ELSE -->fa-file-o<!-- ENDIF --> fa-fw <!-- IF forumrow.subforum.S_UNREAD --> icon-red<!-- ELSE --> icon-blue<!-- ENDIF --> icon-md" aria-hidden="true"></i>

Code: Select all

fa-file-o
that's the fontawesome icon. Don't know if it's possible to set icon per subforum someone smarter needs to answer that question :D

Thank you for your help. Much appreciated. 😊

Will see if anyone else knows about changing per subforum.

That would require some php and is better handled via an extension
