Is there a way to change all font size of post_text to be the same inside database?

Re: Is it possible to find out font size of posts from within myphpadmin?

One problem is that font sizes used a different unit in phpBB 2.0.x. What was "huge" in 2.0 was size=24, whereas "huge" in 3.2.x is size=200.

In the 2.0.x posts_text table, the text looks like this - [size=24:6002692606]test[/size:6002692606].

In the 3.2.x post_text field in the posts table, it looks like this it looks like this - <r><SIZE size="200"><s>[size=200]</s>test<e>[/size]</e></SIZE></r>

The big issue you have is the problems created when you delete posts directly from the database. There are lots of other tables involved - topics, users, to name two.

One way is to change the size of the font in the posts. Off the top of my head, something like:

Code: Select all

update phpbb_posts_text set post_text = replace(post_text, '[size=24:', '[size=16:')
Backup the posts_text table first and try it out on a single post that is giving you the error, like:

Code: Select all

update phpbb_posts_text set post_text = replace(post_text, '[size=24:', '[size=16:') where post_id = X
This SQL is to be run on the version 2 database.

Are you running phpBB 2?!

EDIT: Never mind my post, just ignore it. **

Post some sample text from the database.

I think the BBCode needs to be recompiled for the changes to be effective. To test this, change the size in a post by editing the post on the board. Then add a character to the end of the post and save. Then try importing thsat post.
