How to not post without approval?

Post by open-your-eyes »

Forum version is 3.1.12. Is it posible to limit a user posting by user and not by group?
I want a user not be able to post without moderator approval. How to do that?
Thanks.

If you want it for one specific person, the best thing to do is to make a group with the 'can post without approval' permission on NEVER, apply that group to the forums and put the person in the group.

I can't find "can pot without approval YES/NO". All I see is "start new topics" and "reply to topics".
I want him to be able to reply, but the post should not be visible untill moderator aprove it.

That doesn't look like 3.1.x, where you've posted your support question.

That is a 3.0.x permissions page.
The "Post without approval" permission is on the Misc-tab

That may be. But if I'm not mistaken, 3.0 also have the post with/without approval permission.

Support for 3.0.x has ended.
Pretending it's 3.1.x when it isn't doesn't make that better.

It seems I have found what I was looking for. But it's in MISC tab, not in POST. Thanks for your help. And sorry about lying... ;)
