What PHP version are you using? What server are you on?
I tried everything locally and live to 'break it' but I can not succeed.
Alternatively, just use the regular FTP, as this was just designed as an ease of use interface.

Try ask your host about their cache,
I have read their support forum (I speak French) so I know they are using a double system there.
That could be the reason (the cache) of your specific issue.
I also asked the question, if it would not be a concern of my host. While waiting for them to answer my support ticket, mrgoldy helped me, so every file made or hosting there is an automatic cache purge.
By cons I have a question about this shop. I just did another test. I have a file to download at 1200 points, and I was at 200 points, is it normal that even if I do not have enough point, I can buy the item and be in the negative ? Because I have the impression that there is no verification at the level of the sum. So for the test I am at -1000 points
This is mostlikely expected behaviour. You probably do not have a minimum points value set for the Advanced Points System.
In ACP > Extensions > Advanced Points System > Settings you can set a minimum points limit to 0.
If there is no limit set, it can go negative aswell.
This was done so administrators have full control over what 'range' of points is used on their board.
The UI is very nice. I am very much looking forward to deploying this one.
As noted above I am also experiencing difficulties with uploading files etc. They do not appear when I create them (or disappear when I delete them) until much later. From reading above I understand this is some kind of cache issue but wanted to log it so you know it is repeatable and not unique to one user or web host.
Also, I have "Item Gift" set to "Yes" and "Item Gift Only"" set to "No. However in the store you can only purchase the item but there is not icon to gift it instead.

Your host is probably also using some sort of caching. I've heard many troubles with LSCache and the likes. But that might be causing the issue.
Perhaps we can add a setting to automatically purge the cache after file changes in the shop, for your convenience.
The first screenshot in the first post of this topic shows how you can get to the shop index. If that icon/link is not there, you will have to check the permissions.
There is no list of users who bought this item, when viewing a specific item.

Yes, Advanced Shop System does work together with Advanced Points System, hence the almost identical names.
Or better yet, the Shop system is depending on the Points system. So the Advanced Shop System needs the Advanced Points System.
And to answer "How do this work?" I would suggest first installing them both and trying them out.
Then, if something is still unclear, please post again. However, please provide a bit more details and a less generic question.
