I was wondering if it would be possible to add a drop down to change the theme/style on the board index? I remember back in the day IPB had this, and it would be much quick than always having to go via User Settings.
I assume one could just add the option and a submit button somewhere on the board index, but that is beyond my current technical/coding ability.

There is an extension in the CDB that will do that - if I remember it is called Quick Style

yes, it works with phpbb 3.2.8 It is such a small simple extension that updates so far have not made any difference.
