table Is the part of phpBB?

Post by Ryan999 » Sat Oct 05, 2019 9:06 am

I'm running phpBB 3.2.1.

While looking through the database structure, I found a table called phpbb_users_old. Is this table part of the standard phpBB database?

I can't find any match for that name anywhere on the internet.

I'm not the only who has had access to the server since the forum began, and it's possible that someone may have copied the phpbb_users table as a backup while doing some maintenance on it.

I have no idea what i do please help me.

Thanks for any help.

no, that is not part of a standard phpbb set of tables.
however, unless that table is very large and causing you problems, don't worry about it. it hurts nothing to just sit there forever.

if you want to remove it. export it first, download the export to your computer and save it just in case.
then delete/drop that table.

I'm baaaaaccckkkk. still doing work on donation basis. PM your needs.

You can check whether the records from the "old" table are included in the '"new" table. If they are then that "old" table can probably be removed permanently.
My board's not broken, it just went peculiar
