Placing Banner, please help!

Hello Everyone,

I'm pretty new to this, but I am trying to place a banner on my forum. I understand this must be done via html? I have a couple of noob questions please. Sorry about this.

1. How do I get html of my banner?

2. Where do I place the html?

Have you seen or thought of using the Advertisement Management extension?
