Extension Name: Prune PMs
Author: RmcGirr83
Extension Description: Extension will allow an admin to delete private messages that are older than date specified. Can choose to ignore those private messages from deletion for administrators and moderators. Extension displays in the Users and Groups tab.

Important !!!
  • It is highly recommended that the date entered not be some date that will cause the purging of 10's of thousands of PMs. You may crash your server. There is a check for this but will force queries in a loop. If anyone has an idea how to get around this, I'm all ears. Current batch size is set for 10,000

Requirements: phpBB 3.2.x: PHP 5.4 + / phpBB 3.3.0: PHP 7.1

I've tested this extension with phpBB 3.3.0 under PHP 7.4.0 with a database of ~44k PMs.
