Personally ... there are 4 or 5 clearly in a league of their own, and I've downloaded NC (about an hour ago) and played around with it, and it's not one of them (which is NOT saying it's not good - an hour is hardly time enough to discover its full potential).

I was forced to adopt W11 a bit more than a month ago and altogether it's not that bad. Feels like W10 with a couple slightly different menus, I've my taskbar on my left, everything works great.

I use Windows 10 LTSC. I didn't like how Windows 11 ran on my hardware.

I have a 2.60 GHz CPU and 16 GB of RAM, and my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 3. I know that Windows 11 had issues with AMD CPUs, so that might partially explain it.

Get rid of the AMZ CPU and replace it with a Proper/Genuine AMD CPU.
Imported/Copied/Fake CPU's are not worth the risk of frying your motherboard.

That was a typo. It’s an AMD CPU.

and windows 11 does not any problem running on amd cpus. if that was true then the millions of people using amd and w11 would be yelling about it.

I still have an XP machine in the closet, I'll sell it for "one millllllllllion dollars". I keep it around because I was using a suite of image/video applications with proprietary source files that can't be opened by anything else. That software simply won't run on anything but XP, I even tried it with virtual XP. The software is now extinct so it's my only option to open them.

Certainly a market for it. That software I have won't run properly because it utilizes the GPU. Other issues with older software are dependencies, I have copy of Quickbooks 2000 that requires "Microsoft Java Virtual Machine". Can be difficult to find but I have XP sp1 install disk that has it. I haven't opened those files in well over a decade but I can if I need too without going through the hassle of converting it.

I managed to get around my particular issue with a hardware/firmware solution. Fortunately I was still working so I had access to an EPROM blower. I’ve also got an un-used laptop I could clear out and install XP but I don’t compose any more so it’s hardly worth the effort.

I will say though, my experience of XP was generally good, the only real improvement that effects me with 10 & 11 is the way it can repair itself. Touching wood 10 & 11 have never bombed out on me. XP did a few times but I used a good backup and recovery program so a re-install was only a format away.
