That’s probably where the majority of the spam comes from.

Pay them and posts like the ones you do not approve on your own board will appear on FaceAche and others.

Its a good business model for them, not for you

They'll take your money and either do nothing, or give your site a bad name by spamming it everywhere.

Getting a forum off the ground is hard work. If it's the one in your profile, the subject matter is a really hard sell because it's already a popular subject, the URL bears no relation to the content and there will be dozens of sites that easily outrank you. There's almost no content. Search engines like lots of original content. Apart from what I assume are some articles copied from other sites, there's nothing for people to chat about. I often think that if the site owner can't think of things to post about, then no one else will either.

That link also goes to a bland text landing page with misspellings and broken sentences. I was not inclined to click the button to continue to the board.

The domain was suppose to be for random chatters who like to role play, as far as other articles copied from other sites, The answer to that is no everything on my site is totally unique and written by me, as far as content I am just one person, I write role play tutorials and I have many people tell me my tutorials were amazing, But content also comes from the people who are a;so members and contribute also, and that is a hugh part of the problem as I have no one that is contributing.

Not going to make up for a lack of content and like others have said, it's just going to result in spam on other sites, which will not help you.

Also, you have some spam on your site. This user on your site has an ad in their signature: http://randomchatters.com/forum/viewtop ... f=14&t=470

Yep and the content/spelling/grammar in the post is typical of a spammer. Five years experience as a freelance writer as well, an absolute bargain :D

And a simple IP check on their account will show they're probably a very long way from Alabama.

*about 8000 miles due East I reckon.

But wait, there's more. :D

I'm an Admin on a phpBB-powered board and bad grammar and random crap like that would - at the very least - result in instant admittance into the moderation queue, assuming I did not see any spam links. Presence of spam links would be an instant removal of the user.
