[Resolved] Extensions Tab in panel gives me a white screen

Phpbb 3.3.3

Extensions Tab in panel gives me a white screen.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but my last action 3 days ago was install 'poster ip in view topic' extension.
It is working fine but this morning I completely uninstalled it & purged all - just in case. This did not remedy the situation.

Last Errors @ host panel:

The remaining extensions have been active for over a year & the forum is working fine.

I have a full backup from 3 weeks ago. Just don't want to lose any recent activity.

I opened a ticket with the server host - just received this message from them:

We have checked the error log and it seems the PHP version check failed on the PHP file version_helper.php. Kindly contact your developer and make the sufficient changes to the PHP file. Do let us know further issues or concerns.

I understand what this means but don't know what to do to fix it nor why this has happened.

yes, all extensions are visible now.

Site logo & site background are gone since they are managed by the 'site logo extension'.


add: purged all - re-activated the site-logo extension & returns to same issue.
The app works fine but still giving me a white screen when trying to view the extensions tab.

At this point, I don't know if I'm posting this in right forum section since it seems to be a 2 folded problem.

since the 'sitelogo extension seems to be the issue' (after working fine for 2 years)
I have attempted remove the ext & proceed to add the original logo & background without it.
so this is why I'm not posting this issue in the extensions area since I would like to abandon it completely.

I cannot access any extensions since that tab gives me an error.

I have tried everything with my limited knowledge & still have had a crippled site since august 3rd.

Also restored 2 backups from when it was working fine & that doesn't correct anything.

I (and others) tried 2.1.0-RC7 and found it fully functional.

That is the version I have been using for a long time with no issues.
until 2 weeks ago - no changes had been made to any part of the forum nor other extensions.

Yes, I have deleted it & reuploaded & all was the same. Even tho now is uninstalled the ext section in panel still looks for it.

That means it wasn't removed the correct way.
Restore the extension completely and then post exactly what you see. You can then even try disabling all extensions at once
