Displaying Custom Field

Post by pewe »

I need registrations to include details for which I have added a custom filed.
I need to check this when approving applications, so how do I display it on the Inactive Users in the Admin panel

TIA

ACP> Users and Groups> Custom Profile Fields> Required field
Required field: wrote: Force profile field to be filled out or specified by user or administrator. If display at registration screen option is disabled, the field will only be required when the user edits their profile.
You can see the custom profile field in User Administration> Select form - drop down> profile.

Thanks Mick.

I'm not sure where you are referring to when you state " User Administration> Select form - drop down> profile.".

I have set the extra filed details to be compulsory, and the only place where the content shows is in the members list.
Even if I set the option to display the field in the User Control panel it does not show.

Ideally, for ease of use, I would like it to show in the Inactive User panel, but do not know how to change the scripts to do that.

Users and groups> Inactive users> click the username.

The drop down called ‘Select form’ is on the right. From the drop down select profile.

The phpBB Admin Guide may help.

I see you’ve got hide profile field selected.

If you want something changing or adding the way a vanilla install works you should make an extension request.

I should have seen that - need new glasses.
That will do for my purposes.

That's to hide the information from anyone else (except admin) because the information required is sensitive to the member but necessary to verify before acceptance of their registration is approved.

Thanks again.
