Thank you team! :)
Most of us will enjoy Christmas in the comfort of our own homes this year, however, sadly, that can't be said for people in the Ukraine who are suffering day after day, due to the Russian invasion.

If you would like to make a small donation to help Ukrainians in their time of need, you can donate to help all Ukrainians via BritishRedCross or you can donate to help the Ukrainian children via Unicef. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Thank You ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

I was able to get it by changing the url from the last download link

https://download.phpbb.com/pub/release/3.3/3.3.9/phpBB-3.3.9.zip
instead of
https://download.phpbb.com/pub/release/3.3/3.3.8/phpBB-3.3.8.zip

:P

Ah, you haven't been following the development it seems.
phpBB 3.3.9 comes with a new default style: Invisible v1.0.0.
It's been a pain testing it but now that it's live, I can confirm it works as intended. 8-)
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Originally from 3.1 (or 3.0) never used the full update package. But I'll compare it to 3.3

Edit: I can't compare. The full package contains an empty config file.

The config.php gets not updated by the update process, doesn't matter which method you use.

See https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... gphp-file/

But for further help please make an own topic.

Updates done on 2 live forums and 2 test forums last night, no errors, all seem to be working as expected.

Great to see the topic icons issue that I pointed out back in July 2021 has now been addressed.
