What actions did you take (updating your board; installing a MOD, style or extension; etc.) prior to this problem becoming noticeable? I was trying to create a custom profile field, inserting quite a few instructions on how to fill it out. I couldn't save the field ("too many rows" or something similar), and it does not appear in the user registration form. However, I can't open the custom fields section either.

it has been fixed, or better: resolved.

There were 3 records which where all identical (except for the field_id).
When deleted, the profile_field management pages rendered normally again.

How those 3 records got entered, I do not know.
