I had the hardest time trying to describe what happened...
I'm not a programmer so please bear with me. I learned enough HTML to be dangerous... and I like to customize and tinker a little...
I have a forum... motunaton.com that's for people who do recording with computers, etc. I installed a dark theme maybe 3 to 4 months ago and I poked around in the .css files and did some editing to customize it a bit and improve contrast after getting set upon by a few users who hated the dark theme. I recall I had to change some of the color values for the forum title links on the main page and pretty sure I edited a file (colours.css?) in the subsilver theme. It looked like this:
So I had someone update the board for me to 3.3.9 from 3.3.8 a few days ago and it went pretty well. I decided I wanted to install a lighter theme that is more easily readable. When I installed them them it looked like this:
You can see it's very difficult to read. The yellow color for the forum names persisted. I figured it would be an easy thing, to go find where the color values were in the subsilver theme and change it to something darker so it would be legible. That's where I got stumped. Whatever I edited a few months ago, I can't find now, so I can't figure out how to get rid of the yellow. Again, I'm not sure what's going on. Is there a cache file somewhere that's still persisting in keeping this link yellow? I tried deleting the cache in the Board Settings and in my browser, but I can't change this. I have someone who I pay to help me get out of jams like this, but things are a bit tight after Christmas, so if there's a solution I'm overlooking I would be very grateful for some help!
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to you all!
