Smooth transition from 3.3.9 to 3.3.10, using the advanced package.
No problem, thank you team

Thanks for the update. Also, thank you for reporting the style changes. It works great for someone like me who is using a style with an inactive author and a lot of customization.

Just tell me? Did you get it right this time or is there another update coming?

Yes to both questions;

The sarcastic answer : because phpBB4 would be an upgrade, not an update. 8-)
The realistic answer: there is no phpBB4 yet (in fact I don't think there an RC even and I don't foresee it within the next few months, perhaps not even before end 2023.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Thanks for the update.

Honestly, I don't think phpBB4 is coming ever.

That being said, I need to remove some extensions on my site and make sure others are compatible before I upgrade my site.

I did the update on PHP 7.3 using the "changed files" package. I haven't noticed any problems.

Thank you for the update.
My 2 cents: Whether an extension is in the CDB says nothing about its quality. It is more important to read the support topics for it. Better to avoid authors who do not answer support questions themselves, who do not update their stuff, and who do not fix bugs for years.

My boards have been updated from 3.3.9 using the Full Package method described in https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... ide/minor/. Update went off without a hitch. Thanks team.

As a data point, my boards are running on PHP 8.1.

You do know that according to PHP: Unsupported Branches that version was last supported on 6 Dec 2021 (1 year, 2 months ago).

phpBB 3.3.10 runs fine on any of the PHP: Supported Versions.

may be, may be - but some of my used extension do not.
