I noted that by using 'by admin' I still got the emails without the admin [email] setting being activated in the UCP.

You mean the "Administrators can email me information?"
That is not related to notifications. That is for receiving Mass Emails.

Odd. You don't have an extension sending it, or maybe a second admin user account?

No extension, let me check the other admins permissions.

Edit: No, the only difference between the two accounts is one is a founder, essentially they're the same and both receive the mails.

The question was if you had a second admin user with the same email, that had the notification mail checkbox checked.

Yes same email but no email notification selected the same as the other.

That UCP Notification setting is vanilla on both accounts as I’ve never used ‘by admin’ so never had reason to look at it. The only issue I see is if the admin(s) can’t stop the emails because the setting is already ‘no’.

Can somebody else check please?
