Well, the text in input boxes here is almost invisible. Is there a way to make it slightly darker? (See attachment)

Yes, or course. Just change to colour in the CSS. But, to do that we would have to be able to see the code.

If you are requesting support for presentation issues it is always best practice to include a direct link to a live example of the issue. That way anyone can immediately find the relevant code via browser dev tools, and immediately test possible solutions.

If (as in this case) a style or extension have been obtained from outside phpBB.com that is the best place to seek support as they know their code far better than we do.

Personally I would be happy with a live example. Finding the relevant code from that starting point is usually very easy, and it may be quicker and easier for the OP than trying to get support on GitHub for a repo that apparently has not been updated for 6 years.

I'm generally happy to help anyone who actually wants to learn about presentation coding.
