Font family instances

I've made some changes to styles, and now I'm asking...

In the css files there are many instances of font family.
These have to be all the same (identical lines) or it is normal they differ?

Maybe it will seem a stupid question, but please answer.

if they would be the same there wouldn't be reason for them to be added in the first place
