Sitemap extension?

Post by CPTOM »

Does anyone know of a sitemap generator for phpbb 3.3.11? I am aware of this extension:

https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... o_sitemap/

There are multiple people saying it doesn't work on 3.3.11, and it would seem to be poorly supported (maybe abandoned?) by the author, at least here...

Looking for something similar (even if not free) and/or if the seo-sitemap extension here is still active and functional on updated boards?

This extension works well with phpBB 3.3.11 and PHP 8.2, well I have been using it on my board for a long time: https://forums.caforum.fr/sitemap.xml

Which extension? Do you mean "phpBB3 SEO Sitemap" linked below?

@ssl < strange that you say it works well on 3.3.11.

I have installed it and enabled it. I have purged the cache.
And the sitemap is unaccessible

And my htaccess is correct with these lines inside :

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ app.php [QSA,L]
</IfModule>

So I don't know what to do now...

Claude.ai found the solution.

For those facing the same issue, follow that :

Disable the extension in ACP if you haven't already done so
Delete the ext/shredder/sitemap folder
Redownload a clean copy of the extension
Upload it to ext/shredder/sitemap
Create store/shredder again using chmod 755
Reactivate the extension in ACP

The issue was that store/shredder wasn't created automatically by the plugin.
Hope it will help some of you

With a CDB extension, you don't need to add a folder on the server.

Here's the configuration after activation of the extension

What to do if when viewing the site map in this extension the page opens for a very long time? Several minutes. And don't send me to solve the problem on other resources. The answer is always the same - change the hosting. I have already changed many servers. And all of them are not weak. But the problem always remains. This problem has been going on for several years. What can you advise?

Support must be done on the support page of the extension in question, not here.
In general, it's your whole board that's struggling.

What are you saying?
I wrote above that the answer is the same everywhere. I asked on the extension developer's page as well.
