Updated to 3.3.11 and have a language pack question

Post by xinu-mike »

I just updated to 3.3.11 using the full package upgrade.
I was previously at 3.3.10.
Everything seems great, but no en_us.
I know I just might not have enough coffee this morning, but I can't figure out how to re-install American English.
The database believes it is the default.

So, what do I need to do this morning?

Also, the extensions seem to be installed. Is there anything else I might need to do for them??

Thank you, and please forgive me if I am asking obvious questions!

Ok. Thank you.
So, double checking the process.
- I need to delete what the system thinks is the existing English language pack.
- Then install the English language pack.

If you used the full package upgrade, then your English language pack should be up to date.
If you want to use the US English package as default, you need to upload that (and set it as default language if that's what you want) and inform your users that they can select their preferred language in the UCP.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.
