Thanks for the job.
Updated from phpBB 3.3.11 using the changed files method, no problem

This version doesn't have a nickname? Where is Bertie?

Was able to update the software and style to 3.3.12 with the "advanced update package" without any problems.

I have a board with many extensions and many styles installed, in italian.

There are changes in styles I should apply to my styles and/or changes to apply to the italian files?

Or can I use the Advanced Update pack with no risks?

None of the update packs support updating a style other than prosilver and a language file other than British English.
And it has always been like this!

With this link: https://area51.phpbb.com/code-changes/3.3.11/?styles
You can update your styles and your Italian language file if you don't want to wait for the official packs to be released. This link is for the update from 3.3.11 to 3.3.12

Otherwise you have the Italian support board for the language file.

Yes, you already to the information where to find them or wait for the update of the style author.

No, that is why it is advanced. And it does not automatically update language and other styles then en/ and prosilver/ anyway.

At phpBB.de we provide an advanced update package which takes care of german, at least :)

That's why I talked about the Italian support board, I think alex75 does the same.

I've used the update install many times before. With this version, running locally with XAMPP, it runs for a few seconds, the progress bar reaches 65%, then it stops with "The installer has detected a timeout, you may try to refresh the page, which may lead to data corruption. We suggest that you either increase your timeout settings or try to use the CLI." Is there an easy way of disabling this? I have a heavily modified board and the update install is a huge timesaver versus a manual merge. Thanks for any suggestions.
