Mark topics feature

Post by pibodi »

Hey, everybody!

I'm looking for an extension that would allow users to tag or mark topics for themselves (so this will not affect other users). For example, it could be an asterisk, a color or something along those lines.
Bookmarks are not suitable for this purpose, because when viewing the list of topics, the topics added to the bookmarks are not visually different from the others. I will be grateful for any ideas how to implement it, as well as ready to pay for the solution, if someone is ready to write a plugin.
Thank you!

In the event that you're happy to pay someone to write an extension for you then you should post in the Wanted! forum. Do you have any examples of other forums or websites that offer this feature so we can try and get an understanding of what you're after specifically?

I did a search in the customisation database however I didn't see anything in there that would 'mark' a topic of any kind though.

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I would like something similar to Google Groups. There you can mark any topic as "starred" and it's quite useful, because you can visually distinguish it from other topics...
