Extension description: Name of the extension: CF Change Post time
Autor: Chris1278
Version of theExtension: 2.0.0
Compatible with the following phpbb forum versions:
- phpbb 3.3.0 -> <3.4
- php 7.0 -> < 8.3@dev
CF Change Post Time is a further development of Change Post Time (ext 3.1; 3.2) and is based on Change Post Time (MOD).
P.S.: Furthermore, I have set up the extension so that you can change the date up to the current date. If you try to enter a date that is in the future, a message will be displayed and, in the best case, the action will be canceled. The reason is that if you enter a date/time that is in the future, the post is always marked as unread, even if you have read this post or marked it as read. This remains the case until the future date is actually reached. But the problem also existed with the extension from which I adapted it.
Since the author of the extension no longer maintains it, I created it as a fork to keep the function usable.
I deleted this sentence because I was not aware that the original author had died and was therefore no longer able to maintain this extension. If I have offended anyone, I respectfully apologize!
Description of the extension:
This extension is based on javiexin's Change Post Time.
I adapted the code a bit and made it compatible with phpbb 3.3.0 and higher.
The function is as follows:
- Adds the possibility for a moderator to change the posting date and time of any single post.
- Configuration is done through the MCP, post moderation page, where a new block allows setting the new date and time when the post was made.
- Takes into consideration the change to update topic and forum accordingly.
- Permission based, uses a new moderator permission (both global and forum), "Can change post date/time", that copies the configuration of "Can change poster" in the forum where it is installed.
Tested on phpBB version: 3.3.11
