Strange upgrade error

I tried to upgrade

For the upgrade, I used the same files I to upgrade
https://piepcomptest.nl/index.php

I used

With the upgrade from Zorin´s forum, I got this error:

The file module in Install is nonexistent.

I got the same error by upgrading to phpBB 3.3.12, but after some 15 minutes the upgrade continued.
This time nothing happened.

Zorin forum is again live in version 3.3.12 via a back-up.

That document dates Jan 06, 2012 and is for updates within the 3.0 series

If you needed to upgrade for 3.0.x to 3.3.x then Upgrading from 3.0 to 3.3 contain the instructions.

The forum software is now phpBB 3.3.12, so no need to upgrade from 3.0
This Zorin forum has started with phpBB 3.1

Whatever version that document is outdated, do not use. Select the appropriate upgrade/update link in the upgrade guide warmweer linked too.

Strange, I don't understand it!

What if I remove everything from the server except a few files and install phpBB 3.3.13 a new.

From which version did you upgrade?
Actually upgrading implies starting from a major version lower than the major version you want to be the end result.

If it was just an update: then re-update following the instructions in https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... ide/minor/ and use the full package .

If you have previously abandoned an update attempt to try a different method, you will need to remove the following files from the server:

store/install_config.php
store/io_lock.lock
