Some language is missing translation of icon_user_online.gif[

I noticed the text on the picture styles/prosilver/theme/[language code]/icon_user_online.gif can be translated and wonder if other translators have missed this and not translated the picture yet.

I guess the original "ONLINE" is correct in some languages.
Out of the 36 language packs i downloaded from 21 keep the original image with "ONLINE".

In language\[language code]\common.php there is a string with "Online" which suggest to me that at least the languages Catalan (ca), Greek (el), Estonian (et) have not translated the picture.

Did you try reporting it to the translators of those language packs?

In my case, it was a conscious choice.
Everyone understands online and ONLINE takes less space than CONNECTAT which I find better in text form but looked cramped in image form at that size.

Spanish uses CONECTADO which is almost CONNECTAT.

Yes i write a message to the three langauges mentioned above in case they want to translate the picture.

I think translators should have to translate only the language files and not that icon_user_online.gif image text also.
There are some languages that, their text would be too long to fit in that small sideways image.

I've used numerous universal online/offline images over the years like these Online Offline images.
And there are hundreds of universal images out there that could be for online/offline images.

In previous versions I placed my universal online/offline images in the /theme/images/ directory and set them in the colours.css
Also in overall_header.html I would remove the line <link href="{T_STYLESHEET_LANG_LINK}" rel="stylesheet">
Along with deleting the /theme/en/ directory and it's stylesheet and image.

I think it would be nice if in phpBB 4.0 they would finally get rid of that online text image and go universal.
