Good luck. It's really not easy these days.

You can do things like google ads but they don't pay out anything like as much as they used to.
If it's a specialised subject you can look at dedicated sponsors you can approach directly. They can then either have banner ads or forums to advertise their own product with maybe a discount code for forum members.

You can also look at paid VIP membership but that requires some time management on your part and most of the time people can find the same info for free on another forum.

You'll have more luck starting a TikTok page and making money that way rather than trying to start a forum, honestly.

There are some big forum sites in Turkiye. Advertising at the top of the index page on one of these sites costs around 1500 dollars per month. All advertising spaces on that site are full. On another forum site, they asked for approximately $150 per month to pin a topic to the top. I know it is very difficult but possible.

But instead of worrying about design like me, you should spend more time creating quality and good content.
