Database Check Table Warning unq_mtch & un_mtch

Hello all, having run the Check table option in my forums database I got the warning / suggestion below.....

The indexes unq_mtch and un_mtch seem to be equal and one of them could possibly be removed.

Is it safe to remove one ? is there no reason to be concerned ?

Oh that`s mystery then maybe they have come from a ext extension ?
I will take a closer look to see if I can gather some more information.

Hello and thanks for the link, I can see it appears you resolved your issue by dropping the unq_mtch table ? the topic however was way back in 2014 so can you remember that being the case and the resolve ? also would it still be viable / safe to do the same in the latest version of PHPBB in 2024 ?

I decided to go ahead anyway and done a database back up before hand, I simply looked for the table phpbb_search_wordmatch then clicked the link within that line called structure to find the unq_mtch which I dropped and now no warning shows
I cannot see any adverse affects.................... so far.
