Lots of problems since upgrading from 3.0.x to 3.3.13

I wanted to update this thread with a few comments and a possible cause of my problems.

First of all, I have reloaded 3.3.13 a few times. I have also had to restore the site several times (we have GoGaddy rolling 7 day backup).

At one time the forum would not accept my (or any other) password and that is not fun. Fortunately a restore got us back up.

Now for my thoughts on a possible cause of my problems (just a guess on my part). I ran into some problem (can't remember what issue was and it was before my upgrade attempts). I was still on 3.0.x and they somehow forced a 8.3 PHP install. I had to have them take me back to 7.2 and that seemed to make a difference. I have since upgraded PHP

My forum is now on 3.3.13 and PHP 8.1 (don't want to go any higher for a while). It seems to be fairly stable -- time will tell.
