Help with failed update

Post by drmoss_ca »

Will pay for help updating

Target audience: anyone with more knowledge of phpBB than me

Reward: Will pay, to be negotiated

Deadline: At your convenience

Preferred contact method: e-mail to [email protected]

Link to the board: cllforum.org

Detailed description of the tasks: This is a forum for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and their caregivers. A few forums are public, the rest are seen only by members. It was set up by a fellow patient who has since died of the disease, and while I know how to administer it, I have messed up an upgrade. Currently the files are at 3.3.11 but the database refuses to upgrade beyond 3.3.10. Multiple attempts to upgarde fail as there is a file missing (I forget the details, but when you try you will see the error). I can supply bluehost login details, where there is a phpMyAdmin control panel, and I can supply ftp access to the forum's files.
I expect this to be a simple task for those familiar with these things. I'm just a retired GP, and haven't the faintest idea! Thanks for looking, and I hope to hear from you.
