auto moderator question

Post by SEKIZO »

does anyone know if there is such extension

it would be very basic set 3 or more word , if those words show in same post auto ban user and delete post or just delete post.

and

if there is something like this

where i could set links like https://phpbb.com to be allowed and all other links get deleted or censored with word replacement.

I've never seen an extension for either of those.

What's the bigger picture? Are you just getting hit by a lot of spam, because that's easy to stop on the registration page.

im not hit with lots of spam but some and i want to stop it.
And i dont think its possible to stop spam at registration page in fact im 100% sure that u cant stop spam on registration page what u can stop is spam bots u cant stop people that do it manually.

i have few problem with one spambot but its really minor, thats why i want to disable links and also some users are posting bad links manually.

and i have problem with other people spamming manually human will bypass any ip block or captcha block word censoring , all this can be stoped by getting posts to need to be approved but i dont have time and enough moderators to do this thats why im seeking some moderation tool that could help me with this.

all tho id love to ask you how is it possible that this bot is posting empty post they keep link in signature and posting empty posts ? really wierd

Add them to a hidden group and use this?

When creating a group, there's an option to configure it as hidden.
That means the members of that group will not know they are member of that group.
With group(/forum) permissions you can then prevent them posting links.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

You keep saying this. Can you link to an actual post? phpBB has built-in checks to see if you posting an empty message.

I doubt the post are empty.
Try test-quoting or editing the so-called empty posts to see the full content.

PM me a link to one of those posts on your board (create a temporary account for me so that I can read and testquote)
