Good morning,
I am facing a problem since a migration of a PHPBB forum, this one has persistent disconnections, I have modified the cookies nothing changes, can someone help me to resolve this?
Filling in and posting the Support Request Template here could help.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.
Time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.
when you say "persistent disconnections" are you referring to a database error, or that you have to continuously log in?
a common reason for this is using an incorrect port, meaning using port 80 for https.
your server may differ but the most common is http = port 80 and https = port 443
you can change this in acp-GENERAL-SERVER CONFIGURATION/Server settings
Also check "Session length:" in acp-GENERAL-SERVER CONFIGURATION/Load settings. default is 3600 seconds
Just noticed that cgauthey is using varnish 6.4.
AFAIR the free version didn't support https: but I don't know about the current versions. (I've never used it)
Fact is some extra configuration is necessary when using varnish with https.
This is something to take up with the host (or on the varnish forums)
