Updated my board from phpBB 3.3.13 to 3.3.14 using, as usual, the changed files method, no problem!
Thanks to all the team members.
Sorry for my English ... I do my best! :anger_right:

Ooooh - I used the advanced update for the first time in a decade (literally) on my test board - went flawlessly and it's FAST

Really nice! Thank you as always! Still learning :)

These updates seem to be more about updating the various 3rd party packages in the PHPBB package than changes to the actual code of the forum itself. I end up uploading hundreds of files, all part of packages, and a tiny handful of phpbb3-specific files.

Did you actually compare the /vendor from 3.3.14 to the 3.3.13 /vendor ?
Actually the size of the /vendor folder(s) is already a giveaway that uploading hundreds of files isn't needed.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Live board updated using the full package, flawlessly. 6 minutes from disabling the board to enabling it again which for me is an absolute record. Doing more and more using CLI... :)
