I am looking for a solution for the portal

Post by rudesmen »

I am considering adding a portal to my phpBB 3.3.12 to increase the possibilities. For example, making blog-like entries, creating a knowledge base.

Optionally, in the future I would also like to make a marketplace - at the moment I am thinking of solving this through Ossclas.

I found Board3 Portal which is interesting but not ideal :D
And can I use the solution that is on the phpbb.com main page - can I download it somewhere?

Or maybe you know another solution?

I've moved your topic to the extension requests forum, phpBB Discussion is for general phpBB topics. What have you searched for so far? Also, Board3 portal is (or at least has been) very popular so what makes it not ideal for you? That will help people in figuring out what features you do or do not need. Here are some searches to get you started...

The code that runs this website, aside from the actual phpBB installation, is not publicly available.

I thought there was a blogging extension, but I'm not sure.

Old extension, but I believe it still works - Knowledge Base

Take note that this portal isn't free and that it hasn't been validated.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

I am grateful for the answers. For deninho32 too, even if it is not free.

Danieltj i need some time, especially since I don't know English well, to check the solutions you sent.

Kailey I think I will definitely use the knowledge base. The blog is not that important to me at the moment. In the portal I want to present the content (threads) more accessible to users so that it is easier for them to navigate (to increase traffic and user experience).

I think I saw this solution on a few different sites so I thought it was available somehow.
