File name problem (images not showing)

Hi,

I am moving to a new server and already redirected my domain to the new one. Hence, I can no longer reach forum on the old server but I can access files at the previous provider. I simply installed a new forum program (3.3.14) at the new host and moved my database and files manually. Now my forum works but images are not being displayed.

Here is how it now looks in forum:

In the database I see that physical filename is renamed:

forumas.PNG

And when I find this renamed file in the files folder, it is there and I can see it there:

forumas3.PNG

What am I doing wrong here?

The attachments are served up by download/file.php.
What error are you seeing when you right-click on the broken image and open it in a new tab?

Is it possible you transferred the attachments in ASCII mode?

Some images open nicely with right-click. Others say "The selected attachment does not exist anymore."

Not sure, I simply downloaded compressed .zip file to my pc, then uploaded and uncompressed it to a new server folder

Just noticed half of my smilies are also not working:

Although all of them are in the required folder.

Hold ctrl and hit f5, they should either all appear or disappear. There is no reasons smilies shouldn't work unless the path is wrong or something like permissions.

As far as attachments do newly uploaded attachments work?

Solved. Everything was my own mistake of changing thumbnail settings / smiley names in the old forum and not updating them accordingly in the new forum
